Question no 2507 : Convert of Planned Order to Purchase Requisition

In SAP MM or PP MRP planning, when converting a planned order in the stocks requirements list, the only option available for the planner in the mrp element dialog box is only allowed to convert to purchase requisition; what is the possible setting in the material master that prompted this option to the planner ?

A)    Material status assigned to the material which only allow external procurement.
B)    MRP group assigned to the material which was set to default allowed conversion options.
C)    Field selection assigned to the planner hiding the option.
D)    A wrong navigation profile was assigned to the planner.
E)    The procurement type determined via the Material Type configuration resulted in the procurement option.

  1. Most likely due toe material type configured with internal procurement not allowed and external procurement allowed, this in-turn sets the procurement type in the mrp 2 view to 'F' and grayed out to not allowed user changes tomthe field,
