  1. A) Basically Ind/Coll indicator '1' will be the parent's planning strategy and Ind/Coll indicator '2' is to switch the assembly or component to MTS. It is most likely thinking that this is not relevant for a MTS startegy Scenario as setting this insicator to '1' or '2' does not make sense for the aseembly of components. In general, the statement is TRUE that this indicator is relvant for MTO planning strategies.

  2. D) This is exactly why components or assembly of a product of MTS planning strategy is set with ind/coll indicator 'blank' as it will follow the behavior of its parent. However if the parent is set with a MTO planning strategy, the ind/coll indicator of '2' at the child will be switch to MTS mode with common stocks planning.
