In SAP MM as at ECC6.0 Ehp5, which of the following MM Purchasing Documents can be created without Plant ?
(more than one answers)
A) Purchase Requisition.
B) RFQ.
C) Purchaser Order.
D) Contract.
E) Scheduling Agreement.
.
Answer: B, D
ReplyDeleteB) You can create a RFQ without Plant so that you can ask from the vendor a Price for all of your Plant, the result if accepted can generate a Purchasing Info Record without Plant.
ReplyDeleteD) A Central contract can be created without Plant as part of the negotiation process usually by Central Purchasing Organization. However, Purchase Order issued releasing against the Contract must then define the Plant for receiving.
ReplyDeleteE) Scheduling Agreement is designed by SAP for frequent deliveries (like Just in Time) to avoid too many purchasing document communication to the vendor (in this case, SA releases delivery schedules to the vendor). You do not create Purchase Order as a release document to the Scheduling Agreement. The Scheduling Agreement number itself is used for all the deliveries; therefore a Plant is necessary for the SA.
