Sampling Procedure is usually assigned together with the Master Inspection Characteristics either in the Inspection Plan or Material Specification. You can make it a mandatory assignment via an indicator in the Master Inspection Characteristics definition. However, the system will check if a Sampling Procedure is set at the Inspection Type in the Material Master when the Sampling Procedure at the Master Inspection Characteristics is not found.
