A, D) The most basic use of Stock Determination Strategy is to set Storage Location Priority.. When material is implemented for split valuation at the Plant, then Valuation Type can also be part of the Priority rule. Here, you can combine Storage Location and Valuation Type as priority rule.
ReplyDeleteB, C) Additional fine tuning of the Stock Determination Strategy is Sorting of Stocks by its Quantity (for example sort all locations by smallest quantities first, when the quantity is the same then use the storage location priority rule). When material is implemented at the plant with split valuation, then another fine tuning is to sort the stocks by valuation price first and when the prices of valuation types are the same then the sorting of valuation type can be used next.
