In SAP MM ECC6.0 EhP6, what about the Valuation Class which is TRUE ?

A)  You can assign the same Valuation Class to multiple Account Category Reference.
B)   Each Account Category Reference can have one or more Valuation Classes.
C)  Valuation Class can be assigned to a Material Group.
D)  Valuation Class can be assigned to the Valuation Type in the Customizing.
E)   A Valuation Class must be exactly 4 characters or numbers.

  1. A) Once a Valuation Class is assigned to a Account Category Reference, it cannot be assigned to another.

  2. B) Each Account Category Reference can have 1 or more Valuation Classes.

  3. C) In the IMG - MM - Purchasing - Material Master (Entry Aids for Material) config, you can assign Valuation Class to the Material Group. (this is use for Account Determination of Purchase Order for consumables without Material Master, as an example)

  4. D) For Split Valuation Definition, you assign the Account Category Reference to the Valuation Type (not the Valuation Class)

  5. E) Valuation Class can be 4 or less and alphanumeric is possible.
