ReplyDeleteSince the max lot size is 2000, the system would create 2 planned Orders of 2000 each.
With a balance of 1280 to be fulfilled, the system cannot issue a Planned Order of 1000 even if it falls on the threshold of 900 with a rounding of 1000; this is due to minimum lot size of 1500.
In this case we expect the supplier to send 1 box of 1000 and 5 box of 100 to fulfill the remaining quantity.
Therefore, MRP result:
2 planned order of 2000 each (due to the maximum lot size) 4 boxes of 1000
1 planned order of 1500 each (due to the minimum lot size) 1 box of 1000 and 5 boxes of 100
