Analysis of rounding differences (MB5U)
ReplyDeleteThis function allows you to analyze rounding differences that resulted from conversion between units of entry and base units. This applies when you work with a material with metric and non-metric units of measurement,
For example:
Base UOM is M, Alternative UOM CM
Received 1000.228 CM is 10.002 M (0.000280-)
Issued 20.341 CM is 0.203 M (0.000410+)
Net 979.887 is 9.779 (0.000130+)
If 1 Meter is $1,000,000 then gain (0.000130 x $1,000,000 = $130)
If I Meter is $10 then gain (0.000130 x $10 = $0.00130)
Accountants are interested in these Gains or Losses but really depends on the Unit Price and Currency of the Country.
