A) RTP can be either valuated or non-valuated depending on business requirement.
ReplyDeleteB) Subcontracting stocks always beling to us and perhaps 'usually' always valuated until there are consumed by the vendor. However, I wonder if you can transfer UNBW stocks which are managed with Qty but w/o Value as Subcontracting Stocks. It will be quite easy to simulate this possibility although it does not affect answer to this question.
ReplyDeleteC) Consignment Stocks are always never Valuated when not used as there belong to the vendor.
ReplyDeleteD) Customer Consignment stocks are our stocks delivered to the customer and valuated as ours in our Balance Sheet until consumed by thr Customer then liability is created to be posted to Accounts Receivable.
ReplyDeleteE) Technically there is no Item Category for Pipeline in the Purchasing Document (as at ECC6.0 EhP5), therefore we can assume SAP do not support Purcahsing for Pipeline Stocks. So Pipeline Stocks are not inventorized and the question of valuated or non-valuated stock for pipeline do not arise.
