In SAP MM as at ECC6.0 EhP6, you can use the Material Status to control processes in Procurement in Purchasing, MRP run, and Inventory Management for material master. However, you can also use the Material Status for controlling procurement of External Services, where do you think the Material Statuses can be assign to in External Service master data.
