ReplyDeleteThe Term shipping is often used in the business world. Often we hear the Shipping Department of a Company which usually is responsible for picking, packing, and loading processes.
ReplyDeleteHere, in SAP, the Shipping Point takes up the same functions. But A shipping department may be mapped into SAP as several Shipping Points and not just 1 to 1. For example, One Shipping Department may be responsible for both task of Parcel delivery and Truck delivery. In this case, you may opt to mapped into SAP as two separate Shipping Points managing those different responsibilities.
