ReplyDeleteYou can use a Material type during Product Develoopment where the Cost Estimate for Qty Structure is not set. When the Material is ready for Mass Production, switch to a Material type that allows Cost Estimate for Qty Structure, then perform the relevant Cost Estimate with Qty Structure to update the Cost to the Material Master getting ready for Mass Production. .
ReplyDeleteHowever if you like to temporarily disallow cost estimates, then you can assign a material status to the material master. Cost estimate is now allowed for the material until the material status is removed from the material master.
