  2. B) If you go to the Costing folder in the Maintenance Order, at the bottom left of the screen is a "PLUS" icon which if you click, it will pop-up another screen for you to insert more Value Categories. Therefore, it is possible to insert Value Categories in the Maintenance Order itself.

  3. C) Planned Cost calculation for all costs including Overhead Cost can be done before or after the Maintenance Order is released (but before TECO). There is a manual "Cost Calculation" icon just below the title bar for you to execute the cost calculation.

  4. D) Estimated costs indeed can only be entered via the Value Category view and not via Cost Element view. It is a standard feature in the Maintenance Order. However, in standard SAP, entering estimated costs is optional.

  5. E) Althought you can insert Value Categories within the Maintenance Order; you are not able to create new Value Categories. Creation of new Value Categories can only be done in the IMG.
    Refer to this IMG path:
IMG - PM/CS - Basic Settings - Settings for Display of Costs - Maintain Value Categories
(also review other related customzing of value categories in the same menu path)
