A) There are no number range configuration for Functional Location. The coding is based on the Edit Mask defined in the Structural Indicator. The Functional Location Category do not play any role in the number assignment.
ReplyDeleteB, C) Equipment Category is assigned with the number range. Several options possible, an equipment category can have both internal number and external number range. It is also possible to have either internal or external number range assigned to an equipment category.
ReplyDeleteD) Measuring Point is only created using internal number range. There are two types of number range for measuring point and reference measuring point. The measuring point category do not play a role in the number range allowed.
