A) Serial number synchronization with equipment master decision is set using 'serial level' field located in the Plant Data Storage 2 view at the Material Master. The Serial Profile does not have this function.
ReplyDeleteD) The synchronization of asset and equipment is not setup in the serial profile. It is configured in FI IMG.

Here in this IMG, you setup the Asset Class and the Equipment Category interface and when should synchronization occur.
E) The Serial Profile is only used to generate serial number and equipment master, not for functional location master. In SAP, the Functional Location master cannot be linked to a Material-Serial and therefore it cannot be inventoried.
