  1. A) You can assign a Document from DMS using item category 'D' as a BOM item in all 3 types of BOM in PM: ie: Functional Location BOM, Equipment BOM, and Material BOM.

  2. B) You can also assign the Document from DMS to the BOM header (all 3 BOMs possible, ie: FL BOM, EQ BOM, and Material BOM), in the 'Document assignment' folder at the BOM Headers.

  3. C) You can also assign Document from the DMS to the Operations in the Maintenance Task List via PRT.

  4. D) It is however, as at ECC6.0 EhP5, it is not yet possible to assign Documents from DMS to the Maintenance Task List Header.

  5. E) You can assign document to the Measuring Point master, when you navigate the the measuring point general data folder, use the menu Goto - Document, here you can assign Documents from DMS to the measuring point.
