The material lock field is MARA-MATFI. You can mass update with t-code MASS (object BUS1001) or using MM17. Otherwise, you can use MM02 to lock the fields for a particular material master (there is a lock icon near the title bar to do the locking and unlocking function)
ReplyDeleteAuthorization object M_MATE_MAF is used for the Locking material field authorization. If you cannot find it using PFCG, you may have to insert the authorization object manually in PFCG. (You use Activity 16-Execute or 51-Intialize)
ReplyDeleteThe customization for locking material fields is done at:
ReplyDeleteIMG - Logistics - Material Masters - Field Selection - Define Lock-Relevant Fields.
The configuration is not dependent on material type or any other objects (as at ECC6.0 EhP4)
