When the option "Basic Date" is used, MRP run check the work scheduling view lot-size dependent data if not will use the MRP 2 in-house production time. In this case, the routing is not used and capacity is not calculated.
ReplyDeleteWhen the option "Lead time scheduling" is used, MRP run first checks the existing of Routing; in this case capacity will be calculated. However, when a Routing does not exist; it will revert to check the Lot-sized dependent data in the work scheduling view before checking the in-house production time in the MRP view (similar to "Basic Date" choice). When there is no Routing found, capacity is never calculated.
