In ECC6.0 EhP2 Business Function LOG_EAM_POM, Enhancement Package 2, you can use the MEB or Maintenance Event Builder to easily manage the planning of maintenance revisions that constitute work packages. This include using hierarchy task list assigned to a maintenance notification to generate multiple maintenance orders.
