There are 2 concepts here in this question:
ReplyDelete1) Delivery for items copied from the reference document and items manually entered in the Delivery. If the items are from the reference document, SAP copies the item category from the source document to the delivery. If the items are manually entered, then SAP uses the item category determination procedure based on the Delivery Type to determine the item category to be used.
2) The "Copy Control" Rule in the IMG from the Source Document to the Delivery Type contains several routines (including user defined routines) which allows the system to check the Header Source Document and Source Document Combination Rules.
