  1. With the control indicators that you maintain in these two dialog boxes you influence the processing of the characteristic according to the following criteria:
    . Tolerance limits
    . Characteristic attributes
    . Sampling procedure
    . Type of results recording
    . Defects recording
    . Inspection requirement

  2. D) The Dynamic Modification Rule however can be assigned to the Inspection Type in the QM view of the Material Master OR Inspection Plan Header. There are other methods of DMR assignments but not directly in the Master Inspection Characteristics.

  3. E) The QM Order (for collecting costs) is assigned to the Inspection Type details screen in the QM view of the Material Master. There are other methods of using a QM Order but not in direct assignment to the Master Inspection Characteristics.
