In SAP MM at ECC6.0, what is the effect of changing the Material Group in the Material Master ?

A) You are not allowed to change the Material Group in the Material Master if there are stocks for the Material.
B) You can only change the Material Group in the Material Master if there are no stocks or outstanding Purchasing Documents and Reservations exist for that Material Master.
C) You can change the Material Group in the Material Master regardless of existing stocks or existing outstanding Purchasing Documents or Reservations for that Material Master.
D) When you change the Material Group in the Material Master, all previously created Purchasing Documents registered with the Old Material Group will be changed automatically.

ReplyDeleteYou can change the Material Group in the Material Master anytime, it may give you a warning message "You are changing Material Group, but Material already used by Purchasing".
