Question no 3949 : Goods Movement to Maintenance Order

In SAP Plant Maintenance as in ECC6 EhP8, Goods movement can be done with reference to the Maintenance Order in which the following scenarios ?

(more than one answer)

A) Maintenance Order "CRTD" Created status.
B) Maintenance Order "REL" Released status.
C) Maintenance Order "TECO" Technical Completed status.
D) Maintenance Order "GMAL" Goods Movement allowed status.
E) Maintenance Order "CLSD" Business Closed status.
.

Answer: B, C

A) At Created status, the MM Reservations are set without the Movement Allowed indicator an therefore Goods Movement is not possible.

B) At Released status, the system automatically flags the Movement Allowed indicator in the MM Reservation items and therefore Goods Movement is now possible.

C) At TECO status, all Reservation items will be flagged with the Deletion Flag and therefore it is not possible for perform any Goods Movements for those Reservations already closed; but do be careful that in MIGO, you can still direct charge to the Maintenance Order even without the Reservations and this is called un-planned Goods Issue. To avoid this loop-hole, after TECO before Business Closing, we can use the User status business function to Stop the Goods Movement.

D) There is no "GMAL" system status.

E) At Business Closing or "CLSD" status, all MM or FI postings are disallowed.
