ReplyDeleteThe delivered configuration of control key PM05 indicates internal operations with services. In this case, the work done can be confirmed using the confirmation transactions of IW41/42. It is meant to be used for external contractors (or could be a subsidiary company doing maintenance work for us) and we prefer to use confirmation to enter completion of work instead of service entry or goods receipt. PM05 also allows us to track capacity loading. It is recommended to match the work center used with the cost center dedicated to the vendor so that cost can be tracked precisely can payment reconciled.
