In SAP LE-WMS as at ECC6 EhP6, the Putaway Strategy 'Bulk Storage' requires the Block Structure to be setup (the configuration as seen in the graphics below), what factor from the material master are used to determine the Block Structure when a material for goods receipt is putaway ?

A) Storage Unit Type and Bulk Storage Indicator.
B) Storage Bin Type, Storage Unit Type, and Bulk Storage Indicator.
C) Storage Type, Storage Bin Type, Storage Unit Type, and Bulk Storage Indicator.
D) Bulk Storage Indicator.
E) Stock Placement Indicator, Storage Unit Type, and Bulk Storage Indicator.

The Stock Placement indicator is used in the Storage Type Search step to locate the Storage Type (004 or 012 in IDES) which contains the Placement Strategy 'B" for Bulk Storage.
ReplyDeleteIn addition, you can use the Bulk Storage Indicator (although it can be an option) which is assign to the Material Master as you can see it in the configuration parameter above.
With the correct SUT and Bulk Storage Indicator (option), the system then locates the Block Structure for the Stacking SU numbers.
