    Staging areas are used for interim storage of goods in the warehouse. They are located in close proximity to the doors assigned to them. Staging areas can also be defined, even simultaneously, for different purposes:
    . Goods receipts (Interim storage of unloaded goods until they are put away)
    . Goods issues (Interim storage of picked goods until they are loaded on a truck)
