If you select a valid MRP type which is relevant for MRP, the MRP Controller, Lot Sizing Key in the MRP 1 view is mandatory. In addition, the Scheduling Margin Key and Planned Delivery time (for external procuremnt) in the MRP 2 view would also be necessary. However, the safety stock is optional.
ReplyDeleteFor MRP type with Auto Reorder Point with Safety Stock, then the safety stock is necessary. In conclusion, safety stock field is generally an optional field in most cases.
