  1. A) Material group Info Record for Subcontracting Category is possible.
Because you can actually create a PO for Subcontracting Item Category without entering a Material Master but with Account Assignment. So, the business is to provide some raw material to be use by the contractor to do some work (of services) but there is no returning of assembly item expected. For example, I get the contractor to install some wiring on-site but the contractor only charge service fee and we have to provide the material for them to work on the job.

    B) and C) Consignment and Pipeline Material Group Info Record
As of ECC6.0, if you try ME11 to create the scenario, it will return the message
"Pipeline/consignment info record only possible for material".
From the business perspective, both pipeline and consignment scenarios should be with material master and not a form of services like subcontracting.
And also combination of Account Assignment with Consignment Purchase Order does
not seem logical as one do not Pay the Supplier until the stock is consumed and
no accounting is posted until that point of consumption/usage of the Consignment Stocks.

    E) Material group info record for one time vendors.
So far until ECC6.0, It is not possible to use one time vendor for any info record scenarios. You can try that in ME11. (it provides an error message "E:000", I think)
Of course, this is SAP design as at ECC6.0.
Just accept the fact, with or without business reasons.
