In SAP PM, what are the possible setup for Backflushing for Maintenance Order ?

A) For each material in the MRP2 view with the Backflushing indicator.
B) Work Center backflushing indicator.
C) Backflushing indicator in the Component detail in the Maintenance Order.
D) Backflushing indicator in the Maintenance Order type in the Customizing.
E) Confirmation Profile assigned to the Maintenance Order.

ReplyDeleteGenerally, the backflushing indicator is set in the MRP2 view at the Material Master, it can be set as "Always" or "Depending on Work Center".
ReplyDeleteWhen set to "Depending on Work Center", this is because components must be assigned to an operation either in the Maintenance Task List or Maintenance Order, the Work Center assigned to the operation will decide backflushing. Therefore, the Work Center master also contains the backflushung indicator.
If you did not make the settings in the Material Master or Work Center, you can also set in when the component is assigned to the operation in the Maintenance Order.
