    Unfortunately when SAP first delivered it's PP Planning Strategies, the numbers used do not provide a distinctive indication of whether it is MTS or MTO strategies. Therefore, one has to make an effort to memorize them.

    MTO Strategies: 20, 50, 82
    MTS Strategies: 10, 11, 30, 40, 60, 70

    Well, SAP delivers in its standard configuration a lot more Planning Strategies then presented above. However, if you have learned and understood the configuration parameters of the basic strategies; the others are perhaps just a variatio of it.
