    Key figures are numeric in nature (such as number of breakdowns, total planned costs, number of notifications etc).
    Characteristics are what describes those numeric data (such as functional location, equipment, location, planner group etc).

  2. C) While in OLTP (ERP) it is called data fields, in OLAP (LIS or BW) it is called info objects. In this case, regardless of Key figures or Characteristics; they are all data fields or info objects.

  3. D, E) While in OLTP (SAP ERP's LIS) it is called info structures, in BW it is called info cubes. These are fundamentally where data are re-structured to enable management decision making.
