ReplyDeleteThe QM procurement indicator is a unique delivered indicator in the QM module which can be found in the Material Master. When for example, you set the indicator in Plant 1000, the QM Control Key becomes mandatory in Plant 1000. But when you extend the Material for example to Plant 1100, the QM Control key in Plant 1000 becomes a 'Display mode' only; and the QM Control Key field becomes mandatory as well.
ReplyDeleteWhen you display/change the material in MM03 and in the initial screen the Plant is not entered, you are viewing the material at QM data view without Plant and you can see the QM procurement indicator (it does seem that the field is plant independent from this view point).
Based on the observation above and the data level where this field is found, the QM procurement indicator does seem to be activated at the Client level.
