    A) When in ME11, If you leave the material field blank and proceed, the system will proceed to the next screen for you to enter a Material Group (hence a Material Group PIR). However as at ECC6 EhP5, this is only for info category Standard and Subcontracting. A Material Group info record can be used for source determination.

    B, C) Item Category 'W' (Material Group) can be used in Contract for Value-based scenario only. This scenario allows both qty and price and different materials to be released as POs against the Value-based contract.

    D) Source List is Plant specific.

    E) Scheduling Agreement do not support Material Group Item Category.
