A) This config can be found at the GR folder under IMG-MM-IM menu path. The purpose is for materials which have a Base UOM of countable units such as pieces but will be weighted at GR. The material master keeps a standard conversion factor of the Base UOM and the weight. for example 100 pcs = 400 kg which is agreed with the vendor. The B1 and B2 error config declares a upper and lower tolerance check at Good Receipt to avoid accepting delivery from supplier which is over or under weight.

ReplyDeleteD) The Availability Check is done at Goods Receipt, its purpose is to inform the MRP controller if the results of the Goods Receipt may be able to solve some of the missing parts problems created prior to the GR activity.
ReplyDeleteE) If the "Create Storage Location automatically" is set in the IMG, when the GR activity is for a new Storage Location the material previously not receoved; the result will be generating the Storage Location view in the respective material master.
