The "Overall Profile" is for OCM (Order Change Management)

 
Step 1: IMG > Production > Shop Floor Control > Operations > Change Management for Production Orders (OCM) > Define Change Profile

The pre-requisite is to Define Change Profile (similar IMG path but next to "Define Overall Change Profile", the "Change Profile" defines how to Handle the CONFLICTs when OCM (Order Change Management) is applied to the Production Order.

Step 2: IMG > Production > Shop Floor Control > Operations > Change Management for Production Orders (OCM) > Define Overall Change Profile

And the "Change Profile" will be assigned to the "Overall Profile" which is then assigned to the Material Master.
