A) In the Material Master QM data view, within the Inspection Type screen segment, you can find a possibility to assign one or more Inspection Types so that the Material can have different inspection scenarios at different supply chain integration points (eg: one for GR to PO, one for Sales Order Delivery)

  2. B) In the Inspection Plan Header, the 'Material Assignment' push button brings you to a screen segment for assignment to one or more materials.

  3. C) No, when assigning an Inspection Characteristics to an operation in the Inspection Plan, only ONE sampling procedure is possible.

  5. E) The Function of 'Dependent-Characteristics' allow you to enter different specifications for an inspection characteristics assigned to an operation in the Inspection Plan. For example there are 10 materials assigned to the Inspection Plan, and 2 of them have different inspection specs, you can use dependent characteristics to enter the unique inspection specs for that 2 material within the Inspection Plan.
