When defining the Master Inspection Characteristics, you can indicate the sampling procedure requiement so that whenthe MIC is assigned in the operation of the Inspection Plan or Inspection Specification, it is mandatory to also enter the Sampling Procedure. If this is not done, you can also opt to enter the Sampling Procedure in the Inspection Type detail screen in the QM data view of the material master. Another option in to enter the sampling percentage directly in the same data view.
